Hot rolling is a common method in the production of various steel sections and black sheets. In this method, first the steel ingot reaches the malleability temperature (below the melting temperature) and after going through the steps of decontamination and rolling, it becomes its final shape. Then, a cooling step is carried out and the output product is cut and packaged in specified sizes.

The production of black sheet by hot rolling usually has four stages: heating stage below the melting temperature, forming stage, peeling stage, rolling and annealing stage, cooling stage and coiling stage.
